St. Luke’s School Admission Arrangements

St Luke’s Foundation School is designated a Learning Difficulty school by the Hertfordshire County Council. We are a special school for pupils aged 9-16 with Learning Difficulties (LD); this includes pupils with Speech, Language and Communication as well as Autistic Spectrum Conditions.

We have pupils from different areas of Hertfordshire, especially along the MI and M25 corridor – Harpenden, Hemel Hempstead, St Albans, Borehamwood, etc; We also have pupils from Bedfordshire, especially Luton.

All pupils admitted to the school need Educational Health and Care Plan or SEN Statement. Admissions are processed by the Hertfordshire County Council.

Once a month, we have an Open Morning where prospective parents and carers have an opportunity to tour and learn about the school.
